Our mission
Most online converters ask you to upload private photos, screenshots and client work to unknown servers. WebPTools was built to prove there is a better way: modern browsers already contain everything needed to convert and compress images — so your files can stay on your device, always.
How it works
Every conversion runs inside your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. When you drop an image into the tool, it is decoded in memory, re-encoded in the WebP (or JPG/PNG) format and handed straight back to you as a download. No server ever sees a single pixel.
